These are so great to have when we have guests as our little guys can be rambunctious! It definitely helps them remain more calm in moments of high excitement like visitors, road trips and public outings around a big crowd.

We tend to use them on as as-needed basis, rather than a consistent supplement. The theanine definitely seems to shine to have its desired effect.

We like that they are made with mostly natural ingredients, the dogs just think they’re a treat, so it’s much easier than feeding your dog a prescription pill.

Would definitely buy again and keep them in stock.

4-Star Review: Great Product with Potential — Just Didn’t Work for My Dog

I had high hopes for these calming chews after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to have much of an effect on my dog, who struggles with pretty severe anxiety. We tried them consistently, but I didn’t notice a big change in his behavior during stressful situations like storms or fireworks.

That being said, I still think this is a great product with a lot of potential. The ingredients are high-quality, and I love that they’re natural and easy to give. I could definitely see these working well for dogs with mild to moderate anxiety — just not quite enough for my pup’s more extreme case.

Every dog is different, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend giving them a try. They just weren’t the right fit for our specific needs.

Let me start by saying I have a reactive 120+ pound rottweiler with anxiety issues that nothing seems to work on. He's also a picky eater. The packaging on these supplements was top tier, plastic seal around the entire outside as well as a safety seal inside. Expiration date was good through April of 2027. The treats are a slightly soft and chewy texture, not hard like kibble. They had a bit of an herbal scent which gave me immediate concerns that my dog wouldn't be interested in them, like I said he can be very picky. I read the ingredients and the guidelines for use. I did deduct a star as the guidelines can be somewhat confusing with large breed dogs. It says for 50+ use 2-3 chews, does that mean no more than 3 or would I still add a chew for every extra 25 pounds? That seemed like too much but I also didn't feel 3 chews would work for a 120+ pound dog. I feel like clarification from the company would be helpful on this. I settled on 4 chews a day just to be safe. I have my dog one and he after carefully chewing he must have decided he like the flavor because he sat and begged for more so I gave him the remaining 3 which he ate quickly. That was yesterday, I gave him 4 today as well and he ate them without issue. It doesn't seem to have caused any negative effects like tummy upset. As for how well they work, I've noticed a bit of a difference but not enough to say it was definitively the chews. He has seemed less reactive and anxious the last couple of days. I plan on trimming his nails today so we'll see how that goes, if there continues to be improvement I'll definitely consider buying more when these ones run out.

I ordered this because I have a dog who for some reason has a very anxious personality. The veterinarian has suggested in the past this powder anxiety substance, however, that takes a few months to kick in…. but that powder on the food makes my dog not want to eat it. He’s pretty smart when it comes to you trying to trick him into eating something. So I thought I would order these because perhaps they would be more like a treat where he would gobble it up and then have effects that would take some of the edge off to make him a little less anxious. This comes in a small jar that is sealed, and inside are like small bite-size treats. My two other dogs really like them, but the one anxious one still is suspicious. He ate the first one, but the second one he left alone. I tried to put peanut butter on it the treat and even that did not work. So I will see if this has an effect or if I can use it. I am giving it four stars because I do like the jar and the natural treats inside. I think they are a pretty good size and not too big. They are soft as well so you can split them up easily. I hope I can get him to use them consistently because I do want him to be a little less anxious, not be scared just a calmer dog. I will update this review if there is a change from consistent usage of this treat..
